Founded in Anchorage, Alaska, Aim High LLC grew from a deep personal commitment to help those often overlooked — veterans, formerly incarcerated men and women, individuals struggling with mental health, and those who simply needed someone to believe in them.
Our founder, Elizabeth Aumavae, built this program not as a business, but as a mission. With firsthand experience witnessing how hard it is to rebuild from broken systems, she envisioned homes filled with hope, structure, and guidance — not just rules.
Today, that vision lives on through a growing team of compassionate staff and residents who support one another like family.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, sober, and supportive housing for individuals transitioning from incarceration, military service, unstable environments, or mental health challenges. We believe in second chances and the power of structure, dignity, and community to help individuals reclaim their independence.

Meet Our Team
Elizabeth Aumavae
Founder & Director | Aim High LLC
Elizabeth Aumavae is a faith-driven leader, devoted mother, and passionate advocate for second chances. She founded Aim High LLC to serve veterans, justice-involved individuals, and underserved communities through sober housing, in-home support, and empowerment services.
Her mission is rooted in love and legacy. Her late father, a proud veteran, inspires her unwavering commitment to ensure no service member is left on the streets. “Our veterans should be the first ones housed,” she says. Elizabeth also honors her late brother, who was diagnosed with mental illness in his mid-20s, by continuing to uplift others facing similar challenges with compassion and dignity.
Over the years, Elizabeth has worked with individuals from all walks of life supporting people through addiction, homelessness, trauma, and reentry. These experiences have shaped her people-first approach to healing and stability.
Jackie Patea
Case Worker | Aim High LLC
Jackie Patea is a God-fearing woman, a committed and supportive mother who is deeply passionate about helping others because she deeply believes everyone deserves a second chance. She's a caseworker at Aim High LLC because she believes in what this company stands for, giving a helping hand to anyone, every and any way possible.
Her mission is to uplift and empower those facing challenges by offering support, encouragement, and practical help so they can regain their independence and confidence. She's committed to continuing this work with compassion and unwavering dedication, believing that everyone deserves kindness and a fresh start no matter their circumstances. " It's a journey I embrace wholeheartedly, knowing that even small acts of help can create meaningful change in someone's life," she says.
Over the years, Jackie has had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life, helping them face their unique challenges and fight their battles. This is something that's very personal to Jackie. Not only has she worked with a wide range of individuals, but she's also stood behind her brother during his struggles. These experiences have taught her the value of compassion, understanding, and never giving up on someone in need.
