We at Aim High LLC
We empower individuals through purpose-driven programs, community support, and workforce development to build self-sufficiency, lasting recovery, and a brighter, independent future.
Who We Serve
- Veterans who need structured support and housing after service
- Justice-involved individuals reentering society after incarceration
- Individuals with mental health challenges who need stable, substance-free environments
- Underserved populations facing housing insecurity and systemic barriers
Our program meets people where they are — without judgment — and helps them build the life they want with accountability, empowerment, and compassion.
What Makes Us Different
- 🏠 Safe, Stable Housing: Our sober-living homes offer structure, routine, and respect. Each home is clean, welcoming, and free of drugs and alcohol.
- 👥 Real Human Support: We are not a treatment center — we’re a stepping stone. We offer support through mentoring, life skill coaching, transportation to appointments, and help accessing community resources.
- 🤝 Community-Based Care: We work closely with guardians, service coordinators, state and tribal agencies, and local organizations to ensure wraparound support for every resident.
- 💬 Open Communication: Residents are seen and heard. We host bi-weekly group meetings to share, reflect, and set goals. Families and support networks are encouraged to be part of the journey.
Why "Aim High" ?
Founded in Anchorage, Alaska, Aim High LLC grew from a deep personal commitment to help those often overlooked — veterans, formerly incarcerated men and women, individuals struggling with mental health, and those who simply needed someone to believe in them.
Our founder, Elizabeth Aumavae, built this program not as a business, but as a mission. With firsthand experience witnessing how hard it is to rebuild from broken systems, she envisioned homes filled with hope, structure, and guidance — not just rules.
Today, that vision lives on through a growing team of compassionate staff and residents who support one another like family.
Because we believe everyone deserves to aim higher than their past — and we’re here to walk beside them as they reach for a better future.
Target Population
Aim High LLC will primarily serve Alaska Military Veterans who are struggling with homelessness,
mental health issues such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD, depression, disabilities, anxiety, and unemployment.
