A Second Chance and a New Outlook
From Self-Destruction to Self-Worth
When this resident entered prison, he described himself as a “drunk, selfish person” someone who had lost sight of everything but alcohol. But incarceration became a turning point one that would lead him to Aim High, sobriety, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Upon release, he was placed at Aim High. What he found here wasn’t just structure it was connection, care, and community.
“When I went to prison, I was a drunk, selfish person that only cared about alcohol and myself. Going to prison changed my outlook on life. Getting out and God putting me here is a blessing. I couldn’t ask for any other people God could put me with. Thanks for everything: heart, and loving, caring hearts.”
